Platform was first introduced to the FinTech industry back in 2006 as they had to integrate several payment processing services into a web-based software product for one of its clients in the U.S. After this client started selling the product to third parties, and Platform was responsible for integrating extra payment options for every user and cover different use cases. “The product was successful in its niche, and thus in next three years, we engaged with all the top and most second tire online payment service providers in the U.S. and Europe, ending up integrating 30+ payment options for over 100 clients. “In 2013 we built a loan origination software for a bigger lender, and in 2017 we got our first FinTech client in the UK.

For them, we streamlined a lot of processes in their existing platform and built a brand new platform from scratch - optimizing and digitalizing the whole business even further,” states Mr.Kondakov. Platform also has worked closely with the Bulgarian National Bank, Experian (the credit bureau), Credit KUDOS, Twenty 7 Tec, and many more Fintech related companies and services in the UK.

Platform’s primary focus is Fintech, payment processing, and loan origination software. The benefit for the clients is that the company is aware of the whole process and can more easily understand what can be optimized and how to optimise it. “While our expertise with logistics can’t directly be ported into mortgage tech, we are really experienced in enterprise apps (which is what we end up building for our clients in the mortgage tech in the long run),” mentions Ned Andonov, Co-Founder, Head of DevOps.

Further, Platform’s expertise with high traffic web apps helps them to build and optimize landing pages and websites for collecting most of the data from potential leads and put in a client’s CRM. For instance, Platform had a client that wanted to build a website to collect client’s details and perform a credit report on Experian or Equifax. Further, they also wanted to obtain the data and source and show the results to the user. Platform successfully completed this task and therefore improved the client’s conversion rate and also streamlined data processing on the way.

Such has been the prowess that Platform has garnered over the years by helping many such reputed clients. The company is now focused on bringing its fintech expertise to more UK companies and help streamline their processes and move their business to the cloud.
